My Road to Redemption & Digital Marketing
As a YOUNG forty-something, living life to the fullest is still something of a fairly new concept to me. I grew up thinking I was a happy kid but never fully felt comfortable in my own skin or felt like I belonged until I discovered drugs and alcohol at the age of thirteen. What started as an "on the weekends or at parties" would turn into a full blown addiction and the by the age of 20 I was no longer using to get high or blow off some steam but just to function and make it through the day.
After 19 years, that included a marraige and three amazing kids, I had finally hit my rock bottom that was accompanied with lies, deceit and no longer recognizing or liking the person I saw in the mirror. For the first time in my life, I had admitted that I am an addict and needed help. I checked into treatment the next day and it has forever changed my life. The recovery process made me take a long, hard look at myself and recognize what pain and trauma I had been trying to self medicate for so many years and equipped me with the tools necessary to handle life on life's terms.
In my time in recovery, my position at my 18+ year career was terminated due to corporate restructuring, my wife and I decided our family unit was better for us not to be together and there has been countless other things life has thrown at me but I am finally able to deal with what life has in store for me and carve my own path out. What used to be an excuse to feel sorry for myself and to use, is now a precursor for the next blessing.
Entrepreneurship and the digital marketing space has always been something peaked my interest but I never pulled the trigger due to self-doubt and convincing myself that I didn't have what it takes. That belief no longer resides within myself and with the more I learn about this space (and the hard work required) the more excited I get about what's to come!
It is my mission to be of service to others and help guide as many people as I can in the digital, life and recovery space while providing value, transparency and motivation that you can do it too.
My name is Clint, I am the Owner and CEO of Clear Path Digital LLC and
I AM AN ADDICT.
